From the Manufacturer The Bridgeport Fittings 430-LTI2 1/2-Inch Liquid Tight Insulated Connector is a straight insulated metallic and non-metallic liquid tight type-b conduit. It is made from die cast, ball burnished, mirror smooth zinc. CSA approval UL 514-B. Bridgeport Fittings, Inc. was founded by Adelbert R. Auray and Neil G. Hayes in 1925 as The Bridgeport Switch Company. Initially, the product line consisted of electrical switches, bells, buzzers, wall switches and receptacles. The company shifted manufacturing direction in 1936, when it was decided to emphasize conduit and cable fittings for the electrical industry. Malleable iron, steel, aluminum and brass fittings replaced the original residential electrical components. Later, in 1948, the company changed its name to Bridgeport Fittings, Inc.
