Petzl FREINO Z Auto-Locking Carabiner with Integrated Friction Spur (for I'd & RIG)

The Petzl FREINO Z is a specialized carabiner equipped with a friction spur, designed specifically for use with Petzl I'D S, I'D L, and RIG self-braking descenders. The integrated spur allows the user to easily add friction to control the descent of a heavy load without having to open the main carabiner gate. The FREINO Z features a unique gated attachment point at the bottom that connects directly to the descender, preventing the carabiner from flipping or being dropped. Available in TRIACT-LOCK (3-stage) and TWIST-LOCK (2-stage) versions.
